How to Withdraw PF Amount?
Here are the steps you need to follow to withdraw your PF amount:
1. Check your eligibility: Ensure that you are eligible to withdraw your PF amount, which includes leaving your job and having an inactive account for two months or more, or retiring, becoming disabled, or passing away.
2. Get your UAN: Obtain your Universal Account Number (UAN) from your employer or the EPFO portal.
3. Log in to the EPFO portal: Log in to the EPFO portal using your UAN and password.
4. Check your PF balance: View your PF balance by clicking on the "View" button next to the "Passbook" option.
5. Fill the withdrawal form: Fill out the PF withdrawal form online or offline. The online form is available on the EPFO portal, while the offline form can be obtained at the EPFO office or downloaded from the website.
6. Submit the form: Submit the filled-out form to the EPFO office or your employer.
7. Wait for the withdrawal process to complete: Allow the withdrawal process to complete, which typically takes 15-20 days. Once completed, the amount will be transferred to your bank account.
Note: You may also opt for partial withdrawal of your PF amount for specific reasons, such as medical expenses or home loan repayment, subject to certain conditions and limits.
